ABOUT US
A united body with a heart for Christ, committed to worship, discipleship and outreach to others will come to know Christ through us.
OUR BUILDING
The founding congregation came from the amalgamation of three other local Anglican churches:
-
The Church of the Nativity Corio
-
St Silas North Geelong
-
St Michael’s Norlane.
Cherished objects from the original church's are still to be seen in St Andrew’s, including the altar, the lectern, bishop’s chair and all the other sanctuary furniture. Above the altar hangs a three-layered cross that was assembled from the three crosses from the original church’s, each were made of different timber:
-
Rock-hard flame maple,
-
Walnut and
-
Striped maple.

The timber fit together so well it is a symbol of the perfect joining together of the three distinctive original congregations into one new spiritual whole that St Andrew’s is today.
OUR VISION
At St. Andrew's we aim to provide the best services possible for our community.
Not only does this include our Worship services (both Karen Fellowship and Holy Communion), but our Homework Club, Youth Groups, Foodshare Program, Op Shop and more.

We strive for community outreach and involving all members.

OUR COMMUNITY
The St. Andrew's congregation combines members local to the Corio and Norlane areas, and new refugee families.

This is our community.

We are an accepting Church, and do not discriminate against gender, age, wealth status, sexuality, and personal lives.
As long as you Love, and Believe in God, you'll fit right in.
